About
Vurmo is Programme Director and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM). Vurmo studied law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and obtained his master’s degree on European Studies from the University of Bologna, Italy. Before joining the IDM, Vurmo was engaged with various think tanks in the West Balkan region for over seven years.
His work focuses on governance, the European Union, and a number of security-related issues, including radicalism and violent extremism and he is the author of several IDM studies and reports related to these subjects.
